LIBERATION LOVE STORY:
1) TELL US YOUR LIBERATED LOVE STORY. WHERE DID IT ALL BEGIN? AND WHAT IS YOUR REALITY NOW?
My story starts with my dream. I always had a goal and a dream to stay home with my kids. Be a “stay at home mom” and work from home. I have two sons, now aged 8 and 9. I almost realized this dream when my first son was born. I was working full time, running an accounting business with my mom. I felt that I was an entrepreneur but this business model became a struggle because it required me to go to our clients’ homes to do the work and I couldn’t bring my son with me. So, I really wasn’t working from home… yet. Then the economy crashed and I really felt a need to earn more money for my family. And I also refused to leave the house to work. Bottom line goal was to be home with my kids. Well, I started looking around online and I did one of those $10,000 online business training programs. Not the best investment, but I did launch my VA (Virtual Assistant) business! I really have a love of social media and created a VA business focused on helping people with their social media efforts. Now, THIS was the start of my stay at home Mom, work at home business!
I originally began my business in the Star Archetype, which is NOT me. I’m a Supporter Archetype through-and-through… in business and with my family. I love to be the Supporter of everything behind-the-scenes and this is why a VA business caught my eye.
I was one of the first to be promoting myself as a Social Media Virtual Assistant. There were lots of VAs out there, but no one specifically focusing on social media. I was at the top of the search engines. I hit the top of a wave. I got one client right away via social media promotions, and blogging, and I built it up little by little. And it has really evolved. I moved out of social media to what I’m doing now as an InfusionSoft Expert and Tech Manager with Eyes Wide Open Life and Ali’s other business, The New Law Business Model.
I just love supporting other people to succeed. Love seeing Ali (Alexis) shine, Kiva rock the coaching calls, Amrita leading the company, and the whole team really rock’in it.
My Liberation Love Story has gone from “get by, keep house, and give kids the best I can,” to now having as much time and financial liberation as I desire to support my kids with their passions.
And… I have extra to spoil myself and my husband which feels great! The joy of being able to do extra beyond our kids’ needs is liberation, indeed.
I love being able to fly my nieces up to visit every summer, support fundraisers for neighbors… these extra meaningful things are important to me.
Liberation to me is about… flexibility. To be able to do work I love, take my kids to their wrestling practices, do martial arts together as a family, and attend PTO meetings. It’s about the freedom to do it ALL and feel good for it.
2) WHAT HAS BEEN THE KEY LIBERATION LOVE LESSON FOR YOU? WHAT KEY LEARNING MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO LIBERATE YOUR SELF AND STEP INTO YOUR LIBERATION LOVE STORY AND LIFE?
Find what you love, make a business from it and evolve it.
Loving what you do is the key because it’s not always easy. It can take hard work. There are long days. And so really LOVE what you do.

I continue to re-connect to why I’m really here and what I really want to do. My roles and responsibilities evolve and change, and it all supports the journey that the Money Map helped me to lay out.
I have a clear understanding about what fits into my liberation and what doesn’t because of the Money Map flow and process.
I also really appreciate what we offer here through the LIFT Foundation System (legal, insurance, financial, tax). I made some costly legal mistakes first getting up my business and didn’t heed legal advice. I love that we offer this packaged system so other entrepreneurs and business owners can avoid the mistakes like I made.
